وَمَرۡيَمَ ٱبۡنَتَ عِمۡرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَهَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتۡ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of ʿImrān, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel [i.e., Gabriel], and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.

Al-Mukhtasar
And Allah gave an example of those who believe in Allah and His messengers, in the case of Mary, daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her private parts from zina (unlawful sexual intercourse), so Allah commanded Gabriel to blow in them so she became pregnant with Jesus, son of Mary, without a father, by the power of Allah. She affirmed the legislation of Allah, His books sent down upon His messengers, and was among those obedient to Allah by complying with His commands and avoiding His prohibitions.
