وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ رِجۡسًا إِلَىٰ رِجۡسِهِمۡ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ
But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil.508 And they will have died while they are disbelievers.

Al-Mukhtasar
As for the hypocrites, the revelation of the Quran, with its laws and stories, increases their sickness and wickedness because they reject what is revealed. So, the disease of their hearts increases with the revelation of the Quran because whenever something is revealed, they doubt what it contains and die in disbelief.
