فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَاتٖ فِي يَوۡمَيۡنِ وَأَوۡحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمۡرَهَاۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَحِفۡظٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ
And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired [i.e., made known] in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars, for beauty] and as protection.1387 That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Al-Mukhtasar
Then Allah completed the creation of the heavens in two days. With that, the heavens and the Earth were created in six days. Allah inspired in every heaven whatever He would decree concerning it and whatever obedience and worship He would command. We also decorated the nearest heaven with stars, protecting it from the eavesdropping of the devils. All that is the decree of the Almighty, whom no one can overcome, and the Omniscient of His creation.
