يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَۚ وَيَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ
Allāh keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word,656 in worldly life and in the Hereafter.657 And Allāh sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allāh does what He wills.

Al-Mukhtasar
Allah keeps the believers steadfast through the firm word of monotheism, believing it in this worldly life and dying upon it. They are also made firm in their graves during the Transitory Stage. He keeps them firm on the Day of Resurrection. Allah causes the wrongdoers to go astray by associating partners with Him and their disbelief, which is far from the correct rationale. Allah does what he wills through His justice, from causing misguidance to whom He wills to misguide and guiding by His grace whom He wills to guide the Exalted.
