وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي مَنۡ أَسۡرَفَ وَلَمۡ يُؤۡمِنۢ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِۦۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ

And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring.⁸⁶⁵

Al-Mukhtasar

And this is the kind of recompense We give to the one engrossed in unlawful desires and who turns away from believing in the clear proofs from his Lord. And the punishment of Allah in the Hereafter is even more horrible, severe, and lasting than the life they will have in this world and the Barzakh.
