وَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُۥ نَاجٖ مِّنۡهُمَا ٱذۡكُرۡنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَىٰهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ ذِكۡرَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِي ٱلسِّجۡنِ بِضۡعَ سِنِينَ
And he said to the one whom he knew would go free, "Mention me before your master." But Satan made him forget the mention [to] his master, and he [i.e., Joseph] remained in prison several years.

Al-Mukhtasar
Joseph asked the one he thought would be saved of the two, the wine bearer of the king: mention my story and situation to the king so that he might release me from prison. But unfortunately, the Devil made the man forget to mention Joseph to the king, so he was imprisoned for several years afterward.
