۞ لَّئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَٱلۡمُرۡجِفُونَ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَنُغۡرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا
If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease1212 and those who spread rumors in al-Madīnah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little,

Al-Mukhtasar
Suppose the hypocrites do not stop their hypocrisy [by harboring disbelief and demonstrating Islam]. And suppose those whose hearts are immoral due to their attachment to their desires and those who bring false news in Medina to divide the believers do not cease. In that case, We will command you, O Messenger, to punish them. Moreover, We will give you power over them. Then they will not reside with you in Medina except for a short period, to destroy or expel them from it because of their corruption on Earth.
