وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ إِذۡ يَحۡكُمَانِ فِي ٱلۡحَرۡثِ إِذۡ نَفَشَتۡ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكۡمِهِمۡ شَٰهِدِينَ
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field - when the sheep of a people overran it [at night],896 and We were witness to their judgement.

Al-Mukhtasar
O Messenger, remember the story of David and his son Solomon (peace be upon them) when they were passing judgment in the case brought to them regarding the two people who disputed. One of them had a herd of sheep that went into the field of the other at night and ruined the crops. We witnessed the judgment of David and Solomon; no part of their judgment evaded Our knowledge.
