إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ لِيَصُدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسۡرَةٗ ثُمَّ يُغۡلَبُونَۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحۡشَرُونَ
Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allāh. So they will spend it; then it will be for them a [source of] regret; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved - unto Hell they will be gathered.

Al-Mukhtasar
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah spend their wealth to prevent people from Allah's religion. So they will spend it and not accomplish what they sought. Then, the result of spending their wealth will be regret due to losing it and losing what was intended by it. Then, they will be defeated by the believers' victory over them. Those who disbelieve in Allah will be driven to Hell on the Day of Resurrection, so they will enter it and stay there for all eternity.
