وَإِن يُرِيدُواْ خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدۡ خَانُواْ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَأَمۡكَنَ مِنۡهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
But if they intend to betray you - then they have already betrayed Allāh before, and He empowered [you] over them. And Allāh is Knowing and Wise.

Al-Mukhtasar
And if they intend, O Muhammad, to betray you by the words they utter, then they have betrayed Allah before, and Allah has given you victory over them, so some of them were killed, and others were taken captive. They should, therefore, wait for something similar to happen if they return to their evil. And Allah is All-Knowing of His creation and what works for them, Wise in His planning.
