سَأَصۡرِفُ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كُلَّ ءَايَةٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ سَبِيلَ ٱلرُّشۡدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلٗا وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ سَبِيلَ ٱلۡغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا غَٰفِلِينَ
I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness,405 they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them.

Al-Mukhtasar
[Regarding] those who are unjustly pompous against the slaves of Allah and the truth, I will turn them away from taking lessons from My signs in the horizons and in themselves and from understanding the verses of My Book. Even if they see every sign, they will not believe in them due to their objection to and turning away from them and for opposing Allah and His Messenger. If they see the path of truth leading to Allah's contentment, they do not follow it or desire it. And if they see the way of misguidance and error leading to Allah's wrath, they follow it. That which inflicted them only struck them because of their rejection of Allah's great signs, which indicated the truthfulness of what the messengers came with and due to being oblivious from reflecting upon them.
