۞ وَإِذۡ نَتَقۡنَا ٱلۡجَبَلَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ ظُلَّةٞ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ وَاقِعُۢ بِهِمۡ خُذُواْ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٖ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
And [mention] when We raised the mountain above them as if it was a dark cloud and they were certain that it would fall upon them,416 [and Allāh said], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that you might fear Allāh."

Al-Mukhtasar
Mention, O Muhammad, when we uprooted the mountain and raised it over the Israelites when they refused to accept what was in the Torah. The mountain became like a cloud shading their heads, and they were sure it would fall upon them. It was said to them: Take what We have given you with seriousness, diligence, and determination, and remember the rulings in it that Allah has legislated for you and do not forget them, in hopes that you will take heed of Allah if you do that.
