مَّا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَلَا ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture [i.e., the Jews and Christians] nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allāh selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.

Al-Mukhtasar
The disbelievers, whether from the People of the Book or among the polytheists, do not like that Allah sends down any good thing, big or small, to you. Through His mercy, Allah favors who He wills of His slaves with prophethood, revelation, and belief. Allah is the possessor of great grace. No one in creation gets any good except that it is from Him, and it is from His grace that He sent His Prophet and revealed His Book to us.
