كَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيكُمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنكُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمۡ تَكُونُواْ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and wisdom54 and teaching you that which you did not know.

Al-Mukhtasar
Likewise, we gave you another blessing by sending a messenger from among you. He recites Our verses unto you and purifies you by ordering you with virtuous and good deeds and prohibiting you from evil and wrong actions. He teaches you the Quran and Sunnah and teaches you what you did not know before about your religious and worldly lives.
