وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةٗ فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُمۡ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُواْ مِنَّاۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allāh show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

Al-Mukhtasar
The weak and the followers will say, 'If only we could go back to the earth, we would dissociate ourselves from our leaders the way they dissociated themselves from us.' And just as Allah showed them the severe punishment in the Afterlife, He will show them the consequence of following their leaders in falsehood, accompanied by regrets and sorrow, and they will never leave the Fire.
