مَا قَطَعۡتُم مِّن لِّينَةٍ أَوۡ تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا قَآئِمَةً عَلَىٰٓ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيُخۡزِيَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allāh and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient.

Al-Mukhtasar
What you cut, O believers, of date palms to enrage Allah's enemies in the Battle of Banu An-Nadeer or left standing on their trunks to benefit from was by Allah's command and not a cause for corruption on Earth, as they wrongly claim. And Allah will surely debase with it those outside of His obedience among the Jews who broke their covenant and chose the path of treachery over the path of fulfillment.
