وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

Al-Mukhtasar
We gave them proof that clarifies the truth from falsehood. They did not differ except after the proof was established against them by sending Our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. Nothing led them to this difference except some of them oppressing others out of greed for leadership and fame. O Messenger, your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection what they used to differ about in this world, so He will clearly show who was right and who was wrong.
