And when they come to you, they say, "We believe." But they have entered with disbelief [in their hearts], and they have certainly left with it. And Allāh is most knowing of what they were concealing.

Al-Mukhtasar
When the hypocrites from them come to you, O believers, they hypocritically display their faith to you. In reality, they were covered in disbelief when they came just as they left. Allah knows the disbelief they conceal, even if they pretend to have faith, and He will recompense them.
