Surah Al-Munafiqun 63:8 المنافقون

يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعۡنَآ إِلَى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ لَيُخۡرِجَنَّ ٱلۡأَعَزُّ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡأَذَلَّۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
They say, "If we return to al-Madīnah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allāh belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.

Al-Mukhtasar
Their head, Abdullah bin Ubay, says: If we return to Medina, the more mighty, and they are my people and I, shall expel the lowly from it, and they are Muhammad and his companions. Might is only for Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, and it is not for Abdullah bin Ubay and his companions. However, the hypocrites do not know that might is for Allah, His Messenger, and the believers.
