إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةٗ قَانِتٗا لِّلَّهِ حَنِيفٗا وَلَمۡ يَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader,719 devoutly obedient to Allāh, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allāh.

Al-Mukhtasar
When the polytheists claimed to follow Abraham's religion, Allah rejected their claim, stating:
Indeed, Abraham (peace be upon him) possessed all the attributes of goodness, always obeyed His Lord, and turned away from all other religions to the religion of Islam. He was never a polytheist.
