وَقَدۡ نَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أَنۡ إِذَا سَمِعۡتُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ يُكۡفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسۡتَهۡزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقۡعُدُواْ مَعَهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦٓ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا مِّثۡلُهُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ جَامِعُ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا
And it has already come down to you in the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] that when you hear the verses of Allāh [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them.226 Indeed, Allāh will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -

Al-Mukhtasar
Allah has already sent down to you, O believers, in the noble Quran that if you sit in a gathering and you hear someone disbelieving in Allah's verses, making fun of them, then you are obligated to get up and leave their gathering until they begin speaking about something other than disbelief in Allah's verses and making fun of it. If you sit with them after hearing them disbelieve in and mock Allah's verses, then you are like them in opposing Allah's command. This is because you disobeyed Allah by sitting with them just as they disobeyed Him by their disbelief. Surely, Allah will gather the hypocrites who exhibit Islam but hide disbelief and the disbelievers together in the Fire on the Day of Judgment.
