Surah An-Nisa 4:2 النساء

وَءَاتُواْ ٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰٓ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡۖ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُواْ ٱلۡخَبِيثَ بِٱلطَّيِّبِۖ وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوٓاْ أَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حُوبٗا كَبِيرٗا
And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin.

Al-Mukhtasar
O guardians, for those whose fathers have died and have not yet reached puberty, i.e., orphans, give them their wealth in full when they reach puberty. Do not turn what is permitted into what is prohibited by taking what has an excellent value from the property of orphans and exchanging it for something inferior or of no value from your property. Do not take the property of orphans and combine it with your own – that is a great crime, according to Allah.
