۞ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُمۡۖ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ وَأُحِلَّ لَكُم مَّا وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكُمۡ أَن تَبۡتَغُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُم مُّحۡصِنِينَ غَيۡرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَۚ فَمَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِهِۦ مِنۡهُنَّ فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةٗۚ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِيمَا تَرَٰضَيۡتُم بِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱلۡفَرِيضَةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا
And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess.177 [This is] the decree of Allāh upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation178 as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allāh is ever Knowing and Wise.

Al-Mukhtasar
Those who are already married are prohibited to you, except those whom you have captured while fighting in Allah's path: intimate relations with them are allowed to you after making sure they are not pregnant by the arrival of a menstruation cycle – this is an emphatic obligation from Allah. Aside from that, Allah has permitted you to seek to protect your chastity and theirs with your wealth in a lawful way without pursuing fornication. Give those you enjoy in marriage their dowry, which Allah has made an obligation for you. However, there is nothing wrong if you mutually agree, after the obligation of the dowry has been set, to increase it or to give up part of it. Allah knows His creation, and nothing of them is hidden from Him. He is All-Wise in His management and His legislation.
