Surah An-Nisa 4:23 النساء

Allah has prohibited for you to marry the following: your mothers, even if far removed through an ascended relationship, in other words, your grandmother and great-grandmother, whether paternal or maternal; your daughters, even if far removed through descended relationship, in other words, your granddaughters and great-granddaughters; likewise, the daughters of your son and daughters of daughters, even if far removed through descended relationship; your full sisters and half-sisters; your paternal aunts and great-aunts of your fathers and mothers, even if far removed through ascendant relationship; your maternal aunts and maternal great-aunts of your father and mothers, even if far removed through ascendant relationship; the daughters of your full brother and full sister, and their children, even if far removed through descendant relationship; your mothers through breastfeeding and your sisters through breastfeeding; the mothers of your wives, whether you have consummated the marriage or not; and the daughters of your wives raised mostly in your home whom she had with someone else, if you have consummated the marriage. However, if you have not consummated the marriage, then there is no harm in marrying their daughters. You are also forbidden to marry your sons' wives from your loins, even if they did not consummate the marriage. Included in this ruling are the wives of your sons through breastfeeding. It is prohibited for you to marry two sisters at the same time who are related by blood or breastfeeding, except if this happened in the Age of Ignorance. In this case, Allah has pardoned it. Allah is forgiving and compassionate to His slaves who are repentant towards Him. In the authentic examples set by the Prophet, the prohibition of simultaneously marrying a woman and her paternal or maternal aunt is also confirmed.
