Surah Ash-Shura 42:24 الشورى

أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗاۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يَخۡتِمۡ عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِكَۗ وَيَمۡحُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
Or do they say, "He has invented about Allāh a lie"? But if Allāh willed, He could seal over your heart.1422 And Allāh eliminates falsehood and establishes the truth by His words. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

Al-Mukhtasar
One of the claims of the polytheists is that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم made up the Quran and then said it is from his Lord. Allah says in response to them: If you had told yourself to fabricate a lie, I would have sealed off your heart. As this is not the case, this shows that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم is truthful and receives the revelation from his Lord. Allah eradicates the falsehood of the fabricator and preserves the truth through His words that He sends down to His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. He knows what is in the hearts of His slaves. Nothing is hidden from Him.
