أَسۡكِنُوهُنَّ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ سَكَنتُم مِّن وُجۡدِكُمۡ وَلَا تُضَآرُّوهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُواْ عَلَيۡهِنَّۚ وَإِن كُنَّ أُوْلَٰتِ حَمۡلٖ فَأَنفِقُواْ عَلَيۡهِنَّ حَتَّىٰ يَضَعۡنَ حَمۡلَهُنَّۚ فَإِنۡ أَرۡضَعۡنَ لَكُمۡ فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَأۡتَمِرُواْ بَيۡنَكُم بِمَعۡرُوفٖۖ وَإِن تَعَاسَرۡتُمۡ فَسَتُرۡضِعُ لَهُۥٓ أُخۡرَىٰ
Lodge them1701 [in a section] of where you dwell out of your means and do not harm them in order to oppress them.1702 And if they should be pregnant, then spend on them until they give birth. And if they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way; but if you are in discord, then there may breastfeed for him [i.e., the father] another woman.1703

Al-Mukhtasar
After mentioning the ruling of divorce and raj'ah (taking back the divorcee during her waiting period), Allah legislates the obligation of lodging and expenses for divorced women, stating:
Have the divorcées reside, O husbands, where you reside according to your capacity, so Allah does not burden you with other than that. Do not harm them in spending, residence, or otherwise in hopes of straining them. And if the divorced women are pregnant, spend on them until they deliver what they carry. Then, if they nurse your children for you, give them the wage of their nursing and refer to what is customary regarding the wage. Then, if the husband is frugal about what the wife wants of wages and she becomes miserly such that she is not content except with what she wants, then let the father employ a different wet nurse to nurse his child.
