۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشۡتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۚ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقۡتُلُونَ وَيُقۡتَلُونَۖ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡهِ حَقّٗا فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ وَمَنۡ أَوۡفَىٰ بِعَهۡدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَٱسۡتَبۡشِرُواْ بِبَيۡعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِي بَايَعۡتُم بِهِۦۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
Indeed, Allāh has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allāh, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’ān. And who is truer to his covenant than Allāh? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.

Al-Mukhtasar
After Allah exposed the disgrace of the hypocrites who neglected jihad, He mentioned the reward of those who fight for His cause, stating:
Allah (may He be Exalted) has purchased from the believers their lives, despite them belonging to Him, out of His grace for a high price: Paradise. They will fight the disbelievers so that Allah's Word is highest, killing the disbelievers or being killed by them. Allah has made this true promise in the Torah, the Book of Moses, the Gospel, the Book of Jesus, and the Quran, the Book of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. No one is more faithful to his promise than Allah; may He be Exalted. So, rejoice, O believers, with the deal you made with Allah because you gained such a huge profit from it. That deal is a great success.
