وَأَذَٰنٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَجِّ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَرِيٓءٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ فَإِن تُبۡتُمۡ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّكُمۡ غَيۡرُ مُعۡجِزِي ٱللَّهِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
And [it is] an announcement from Allāh and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage462 that Allāh is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allāh.463 And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.

Al-Mukhtasar
Proclamation from Allah and proclamation from His Messenger to all people on the Day of Sacrifice that Allah (may He be Exalted) is unassociated with the polytheists as His Messenger. So if you, O polytheists, repent from your polytheism, then your repentance is better for you. If you turn away from repentance, then be certain that you will not get away from Allah and will not escape from His punishment. O Messenger, inform those who disbelieved in Allah with that which will upset them: a painful torment that awaits them.
