ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٞ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقُۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants;1251 and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty.

Al-Mukhtasar
Then We gave the Quran to the nation of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم whom We have chosen over other nations. Some wronged their souls by doing prohibited acts and leaving out their obligations. Some were moderate by doing their duties and leaving out prohibited acts while doing some recommended actions, and some disliked actions. By Allah's leave, some were foremost in good deeds, doing their obligations and recommended acts and leaving out prohibited and disliked actions. The abovementioned choosing of this nation and its being given the Quran is the most excellent favor to which no blessing can come close.
