أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَيۡءٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمٗا قَدِيرٗا
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allāh is not to be caused failure [i.e., prevented] by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.

Al-Mukhtasar
Have these deniers not traveled the Earth and reflected on how those nations before them who had denied [the truth] met their end? Did they not meet an evil end by Allah destroying them, although they were superior to these people in strength? Allah is not to be outdone by anything in the heavens or Earth. He is the One who knows about the actions of these deniers. Nothing of their actions is hidden from nor escapes Him. He has the power to destroy them whenever He wills.
