قَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ وَأَحۡيَيۡتَنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلۡ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٖ مِّن سَبِيلٖ
They will say, "Our Lord, You made us lifeless twice and gave us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there to an exit any way?"

Al-Mukhtasar
The disbelievers will say confessing their sins when their confession will not benefit them: Our Lord, You decreed death for us twice, once before we existed, then You created us. Another time, You decreed death for us after having brought us into existence. Also, You gave us life twice by creating us from nothing and by restoring us for the resurrection. We have acknowledged our sins, so is there any route we can take to exit from the Fire so we can return to life to correct our actions so You become pleased with us?
