إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغۡفِرَ لَنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَا وَمَآ أَكۡرَهۡتَنَا عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحۡرِۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allāh is better and more enduring."843

Al-Mukhtasar
We believe in our Lord, with the hope that He will erase from us our past sins of disbelief and other vices and that He will erase from us the evil of sorcery that you forced us to learn, practice and challenge Moses with. Allah has a better reward than what you promise us, and His torment lasts longer than the torment you threaten us with.
