قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٌۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأۡتِيَنِي بِهِمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allāh will bring them to me all together. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise."

Al-Mukhtasar
Their father said: The matter is not how you describe it in that he had stolen; instead, your evil-inclined selves led you to plot against him just as you plotted before against his brother Joseph. My patience is a beautiful patience; there is no complaint in it except to Allah. Perhaps Allah will return them all to me: Joseph, his full brother, and their eldest brother. He, the Exalted, is Omniscient of my condition and All-Wise in managing my affair.
