And to Allāh belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face37 of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

Al-Mukhtasar
To Allah belong the East and the West and whatever is between them. He instructs His slaves as He wills. Wherever you turn, you will find Allah. If He instructs you to face Jerusalem or the Kaaba, or you make a mistake in the direction of prayer, or you cannot face it, then it is not an issue because all directions belong to Allah. Allah is All-Encompassing; He encompasses His creation with mercy and ease. He knows their intentions and actions.
