Surah Al-Isra 17:1 الإسراء

سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡأَقۡصَا ٱلَّذِي بَٰرَكۡنَا حَوۡلَهُۥ لِنُرِيَهُۥ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَآۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡبَصِيرُ

Exalted⁷²² is He who took His Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] by night from al-Masjid al-Ḥarām to al-Masjid al-Aqṣā,⁷²³ whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing,⁷²⁴ the Seeing.⁷²⁵

Al-Mukhtasar

Allah (may He be Exalted) is Exalted from everything that does not befit him as He can do what none other than He can do. It is He who took His slave, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, on the night journey from the sacred masjid in Mecca to the masjid of Al Aqsa in Jerusalem, whose surroundings We have blessed with fruit, crops, and dwellings of prophets (peace be upon them), for him to see some of Our signs which show Allah's power and ability, may He be Exalted. He is the One who hears everything; no sound escapes Him, and the One who sees everything; nothing is hidden from Him.
