وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
And when he attained his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We bestowed upon him judgement and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.

Al-Mukhtasar
Upon mentioning Moses's childhood, Allah recalls the days of his youth, stating:
When he grew up and reached his prime strength, We granted him understanding and knowledge of the Israelites' religion before he was sent as a prophet. Just as Moses was rewarded for his obedience, We reward all those who do good in every time and place.
