Surah An-Nisa 4:127 النساء

وَيَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ فِي ٱلنِّسَآءِۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُفۡتِيكُمۡ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ فِي يَتَٰمَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ ٱلَّٰتِي لَا تُؤۡتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرۡغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنِ وَأَن تَقُومُواْ لِلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۚ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُواْ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٗا
And they request from you, [O Muḥammad], a [legal] ruling concerning women. Say, "Allāh gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is decreed for them219 - and [yet] you desire to marry them - and concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allāh is ever Knowing of it.

Al-Mukhtasar
They ask you, O Messenger, about the rights and duties of women. Say: Allah clarifies what you have asked about and what is recited to you in the Quran concerning orphan girls in your care, to whom you do not give their dowry and inheritance as Allah has obligated. You do not wish to marry them, yet you prevent them from marrying because of your greed for their wealth. He also clarifies that your obligation concerning helpless minor children is to give them their due right from the inheritance and not wrong them by confiscating their wealth. He clarifies your obligation of being just towards orphans and looking after their best interests in terms of the worldly and Afterlife. Allah knows of any good you do for orphans and others, and He will repay you for it.
