Surah Ash-Shura 42:15 الشورى

فَلِذَٰلِكَ فَٱدۡعُۖ وَٱسۡتَقِمۡ كَمَآ أُمِرۡتَۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۖ وَقُلۡ ءَامَنتُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن كِتَٰبٖۖ وَأُمِرۡتُ لِأَعۡدِلَ بَيۡنَكُمُۖ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمۡۖ لَنَآ أَعۡمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡۖ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُۖ ٱللَّهُ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَاۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
So to that [religion of Allāh] invite, [O Muḥammad],1414 and remain on a right course as you are commanded and do not follow their inclinations but say, "I have believed in what Allāh has revealed of scripture [i.e., the Qur’ān], and I have been commanded to do justice among you. Allāh is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you your deeds.1415 There is no [need for] argument between us and you.1416 Allāh will bring us together, and to Him is the [final] destination."

- 1414 Another meaning understood from the Arabic is "So because of that [division and separation into sects], invite [them back to Allāh]..."
- 1415 i.e., the consequences thereof.
- 1416 Since the truth has been made clear and since those who refuse it do so only out of stubbornness or worldly interests.

Al-Mukhtasar
Call to this upright religion and remain firm on it as Allah has instructed you. Do not follow their false desires. Say to them when disputing with them: I have faith in Allah and in the scriptures which Allah sent down to His messengers. Allah has instructed me to judge between you with justice. Allah, the One whom I worship, is both our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds, whether good or bad, and you have your deeds, whether good or bad. There is no quarrel between us after the evidence is apparent and the path is clear. Allah will bring us all together, and to Him is the return on the Day of Resurrection. He will then recompense each one as He deserves, and then it will become clear who is true, who is false, who is right, and who is wrong.
