أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ
Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?" Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment.

Al-Mukhtasar
Is it correct that the Quran is revealed to him out of all of us, he is chosen for it, and it is not revealed to us, whereas we are senior chiefs? But these polytheists doubt the revelation revealed to you, and they have not yet tasted Allah's torment, so they have been deceived due to being given respite. If they were to taste it, they would not have the audacity to disbelieve, associate partners with Allah, and doubt what is revealed to you.
