قُل لَّوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَلَوۡتُهُۥ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَآ أَدۡرَىٰكُم بِهِۦۖ فَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُ فِيكُمۡ عُمُرٗا مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦٓۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
Say, "If Allāh had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it.516 Then will you not reason?"

Al-Mukhtasar
O Messenger, say to them: If Allah had willed, I would not have recited the Quran nor conveyed it to you. And if Allah had willed, He would not have made the Quran known to you through my tongue. For I have lived among you for a long time, for forty years, not reading or writing, and I did not seek this type of knowledge nor search for it. Do you not realize that what I have brought you is from Allah and not from myself?
