1. فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡحَقُّۗ وَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ بِٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يُقۡضَىٰٓ إِلَيۡكَ وَحۡيُهُۥۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِي عِلۡمٗا ۝١١٤

   So high [above all] is Allāh, the Sovereign,⁸⁶¹ the Truth.⁸⁶² And, [O Muḥammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur’ān before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."

   2. 862 Or "the True Reality," i.e., the real and permanent existence upon which all other existence depends.
   20:114

2. فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ ۝١١٦

   So exalted is Allāh, the Sovereign,⁹⁶⁹ the Truth;⁹⁷⁰ there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.

   23:116

3. هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ ۝٢٣

   He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign,¹⁶⁵⁸ the Pure,¹⁶⁵⁹ the Perfection,¹⁶⁶⁰ the Grantor of Security,¹⁶⁶¹ the Overseer,¹⁶⁶² the Exalted in Might,¹⁶⁶³ the Compeller,¹⁶⁶⁴ the Superior.¹⁶⁶⁵ Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.

   2. 1659 i.e., transcendent above any aspect belonging to His creation. Also, the possessor and grantor of blessings.
   3. 1660 Literally, "Free" from any imperfection. Also, "Peace" or "Soundness."
   4. 1661 And safety, i.e., reassurance that His promise is always fulfilled. Also, He who bestows faith.
   5. 1662 i.e., who observes, guards and protects. Also, "the Criterion."
   6. 1663 Refer to footnote in 2:129.
   7. 1664 Whose irresistible force is without limitation; the one above all things who compels the creation to be as He wills it. Also, "the Amender" or "the Rectifier" who repairs, restores, completes or sets something right once again, out of His mercy.
   8. 1665 Supreme, complete and perfect in His essence, attributes and actions.
   59:23

4. يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ ٱلۡقُدُّوسِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ ۝١

   Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allāh,¹⁶⁸⁵ the Sovereign, the Pure, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.¹⁶⁸⁶
