ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلرَّسُولَ ٱلنَّبِيَّ ٱلۡأُمِّيَّ ٱلَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُۥ مَكۡتُوبًا عِندَهُمۡ فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ يَأۡمُرُهُم بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَيَنۡهَىٰهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَيُحَرِّمُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡخَبَٰٓئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنۡهُمۡ إِصۡرَهُمۡ وَٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ ٱلَّتِي كَانَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِهِۦ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلنُّورَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُۥٓ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden410 and the shackles which were upon them.411 So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful.

Al-Mukhtasar
Those who follow Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, the illiterate prophet who cannot read or write, His Lord merely inspires him. He is the one whom they find his name, description, and prophethood written in the Torah sent down to Moses (peace be upon him), and the Gospel sent down to Jesus (peace be upon him). He commands them with that whose good and righteousness is known, and forbids them from that whose horridness is known in right minds and sound natures; he permits for them the delightful matters which contain no harm from food, drink, and intercourse, and he forbids from them the foul amongst them; he removes the onerous burdens which they were burdened with. So those who believed in him, from among the Israelites and others, aggrandized and honored him, supported him against whoever takes him as an enemy from the disbelievers, and followed the Quran which was revealed to him: those are the successful ones who attain what they seek and are averted from what they fear.
